Audio Research electronic Industries stereo tube amp, excellent sound!. make / manufacturer:Audio Reasearchmodel name / number:VT130size / dimensions:15” x 22” x 10”Original owner. Amplifier comes without the top metal cage over the electronics - runs too hot and there’s always leakage voltage off any transformer, so that when you remove that much metal, it increases the high frequency response. Have run the amplifier this way for 30 years around cats, dogs and kids and had no problems.Had the amplifier regularly serviced its entire life, just replaced the large blue output capacitors and tubes before storing the amp about five years ago. Less than 20 hours on the tubes. Replaced the power cord with a detachable InSound 900w blue, available separately. Otherwise comes with basic power cord stripped of outer plastic jacket. Removed original footers and use three Mapleshade 2 inch brass footers (included). Also included are 6 maple shade brass/thermal vibration dampeners on the preamp and rectifying tubes. Huge improvements. Scratches on transformers are from Mapleshade brass weights (not included). All Pictured. Guarantee Sound and function are both excellent. Cosmetics are fair to poor due to scratches on transformers, clarity with a super big sound stage and lots of bass punch.Prefer local pick up, or will work with buyer to arrange and possibly split shipping depending on location.
