Authentic vintage 1950s Ermine fur coat from The Emporium, San Francisco.
This beautiful brown/mahogany ermine coat belonged to my grandmother and has remained in the family. The fur has been identified by the family as ermine since its original ownership.
Purchased through The Emporium of San Francisco, one of San Francisco’s historic department stores, with the original Emporium San Francisco label still attached.
Features narrow vertical ermine pelts, a generous fur collar, turned-back fur cuffs and a fully lined interior.
Condition: Very nice vintage condition considering its approximately 70+ years of age. The fur retains attractive color and coverage. Please examine all photographs carefully for condition and normal age-related wear.
This is an original family-owned vintage piece, not a recently acquired resale coat.
