Here is alovely and in excellent condition vintage 1950\'s what I believe is a\"Bellestone\" handbag.It is a brown lizard with a frame top, goldtone clasp and hardware.The inside is lined in a very soft beige colored leather with a pocket on one side and acomb & mirror pocket and zipper compartment on the other side. It is in outstanding useable condition with no visible wear to the leather on thebottom edges. It measures 9\" tall x 10\" wide x 3\" deep andthe handle is 7\" tall. The handle is a soft brown leather so I assumeit was replaced(?) The Bellstone marking is not visible on the inside leather.However there is a spray can of leather cleaner inside the bag. (Included) Its verypossible it was used at some point to clean and condition the bag and in theprocess removed the Bellestone marking (?). That’s just an assumption on mypart. Its very similar to others I have found on the internet only missing that mark.
It’s a veryclassy and timeless handbag!
