With the proper holder and sleeve Big Daishowa has case studies where the torque on the taps is cut by 90% at the bottom depth and tap life improves by 2-3X. Great for tough materials and used in big auto. Unlike older floating holders these float just a little bit (less than 1mm) and provide dampening to your tap while also maintaining depth better than most floating tap holders.
