Java moss is a belonging to the . Native to Southeast Asia, it is commonly used in freshwater . It attaches to , , and . The identity of this well-known plant is not resolved; formerly thought to be Vesicularia dubyana (Brotherus, 1908), it may actually be Taxiphyllum barbieri.

Java moss does not require any special attention. It accepts all kinds of water, even weakly , and all kinds of qualities. It grows best at 70 to 75° Fahrenheit (21 to 24° Celsius),but can live in temperatures of up to 85 to 90 °F (29 to 32 °C). Itmakes a good foreground plant. In aquariums it should be planted wherethere is good water current because debris gets stuck on it easily andgives it a brown fuzzy appearance. Due to its clinging nature Java mosscan also be made into a moss wall. This can be accomplished by folding anet and spreading the moss evenly across it. Then, the net can besecured together by polyester strings, and held on the aquarium wall byusing suction cups. It is a slow starter until it has establisheditself.

It is especially popular among raising fry (baby fish) and tadpoles, to protect them from adults. Java moss can also provide food for the newly formed fry, whichcan be challenging to feed. Some shrimp like to tear the miniatureleaves off it to eat.

DOA or Damaged If you receive dead or damaged plants, wrong plants, not as described etc please make sure you take pictures of the plants and of the box and shipping label and you send me a message here on with the pictures attach to it. Remember to take picture of as many plants as possible not just 1 or 3 stems. Please do not delay on sending pictures of damaged plants or boxes. DO NOT LEAVE NEGATIVE response OR OPEN A CASE. Your problem will not be solve any faster that way and it is considered extremely rude without contacting the seller so we have an opportunity to make things right . I can solve any issue you have with my plants if you let me know what is going on and give me some time to answer to you.

Shipping No international shipping. I ship to every state including Puerto Rico. Hawaii and Alaska. I usually ship Monday- Thursday. If you buy your plants after Thursday 10 am your plants will be ship next Monday. This is done cause usps does not delivers to many locations during the weekend and plants ship after Thursday 10 am have a higher chance of not being delivered by Friday and spend 2 extra days sitting in an usps warehouse, the more time they spend in the box the more they deteriorate

1 month alive policyThe one month alive guarantee is something I happily honor as long as the buyer provides pictures of the damaged plants. If your plants are dying and it has not been 30 days since you bought them you just need to take a clear picture that show as many plants as possible and attach it to a message. Please make sure the picture is large, clear and shows as many plants as possible not 1 or 3 stems. Buyers that demonstrate with pictures their plants died will be sent a second box completely free as replacement. Please understand that the second box you receive will not have the 14 days return or the 1 month alive guarantee feature since it is a replacement.

Tho we do our best to keep snails and other pets away from the plants and it is very rare for you to encounter any of those our plants the plants are not guaranteeto be snail or pest free.
