🚗 What It Does

This is a screen-accurate GPS speedometer prop, inspired by the one seen in Back to the Future. But it\'s not just a display piece – it\'s a fully functional unit with real-world driving capabilities:

• ✅ Displays real speed in Km/h or Mp/h – switchable via inner wiring or DB25 cable option.

• ✅ High-speed 10Hz GPS refresh rate – updates 10 times per second for incredibly smooth and responsive readings. Unlike the typical 1Hz GPS units, this one reacts instantly to changes in speed

• ✅ Selectable digit mode:

  • Movie-accurate 2-digit mode for screen fidelity (88 mph shown as “88.”, like in the film)

  • Optional 3-digit mode for real driving – perfect if you go beyond 99 km/h or mph

• ✅ Custom-trigger system – trigger outputs when:

  • Vehicle reaches exactly 88 (km/h or mph)

  • Or when an external signal is sent to simulate time travel!

• ✅ Bright, adjustable display – easy to read even in daylight

• ✅ Robust automotive-ready electronics – accepts 6V to 26V thanks to a high-efficiency automotive voltage regulator (NOT a basic 7805)

• ✅ Low power draw: 0.5W to 0.8W

• Custom-designed PCB, professionally assembled

• Stanley-style 7-segment readouts, 3D-printed in-house

• Real ROTEX embossed “SET TO 88” labels, made with vintage equipment (not DYMO knock-offs!)

• Same brand/model of enclosuremade in ABS used in the actual movie, not 3D printed.

• Kit includes detailed instructions for setup, connections, and optional mods

• Ideal for builders with basic electronics knowledge and soldering skills, speedo comes already assembled.
