Stunning vintage Blenko #49 Pinch Decanter in rich ruby red glass, originally designed by Wayne Husted and produced circa 1959. This iconic Mid-Century Modern hand-blown art glass decanter features the sought-after “pinch” body form with applied clear-to-ruby stopper and flared rim. The deep translucent red color displays beautifully under light and makes this an exceptional display piece for MCM collectors, Blenko enthusiasts, or high-end barware décor.
A strong authentic example with original stopper included. The form and coloration are classic late-1950s Blenko studio production and highly recognizable among American art glass collectors.
Condition:
Very good vintage condition overall. No cracks or major damage observed. Light age-related wear and minor base shelf wear consistent with vintage hand-blown glass. Stopper appears original and fits properly. Some typical manufacturing inclusions/bubbles and light tool marks from production may be present as expected with vintage Blenko studio glass.
