The realistic blood is the brand, Perma-Blood. It is used in many TV series in movies. Its meant to look wet at all times. This dummy looks freshly made but it is over 2 years old and has held up this quality through years of active use during haunt seasons as a prop I carry at a haunted house. The blood still continues to look wet. The blood on the hook has rubbed off mostly, but that is because the hook does not have a "fixed" position so the mouth and chin have rubbed all the blood off as it slides back and forth.
