English Pattern 1888 Mark II Bayonet for the Lee Enfield Rifle. Measures 16.75" OAL, 12" blade. Veryr good condition showing some light age patina, handling wear, Shows a 1891 date and a 1897 date on it, along with addl marks on both sides of the ricasso, spine handle and on top of the blade, the right side of the pommel is also stamped with 165. See photos. This bayonet looks a lot like the Lee Metford types, but this one has the oil hole in the pommel. See photos for further details.
