You are purchasing the professional rebuild service of YOUR existing carburetor. This service is available for Edelbrock Performer, Thunder, AVS2 series, and Carter Competition Series AFB carburetors.
SERVICE INCLUDES:
* Complete inspection of your carburetor
* Full disassembly
* Chemical cleaning and/or ultrasonic cleaning
* Reassembly using new gaskets
* Replacement of the accelerator pump seal assembly with an ethanol-compatible seal
* Testing and adjustment of the floats and linkage
* Preset curb idle, fast idle, and initial fuel mixture settings
* Jetting verification for the specific model received, including rods, springs, and nozzle
* Inspection of the base flatness
* Inspection of throttle blade seating
* New base gasket and top gasket
No blasting or abrasive cleaning services are AVS early-series carburetors are NOT included in this pricing. They are available for an additional charge.
Carburetors that are damaged, seized, or missing parts may require additional services and charges. No additional work will be performed without your approval.
Please note that leather accelerator pumps on certain models are an additional charge.
TURNAROUND & WARRANTY:
Typical turnaround time is 3–5 business days after your carburetor is received.
Return shipping is included with the service, with 48-state return shipping covered. (Buyer pays for shipping the carburetor to us!!!)
A 90-day warranty on replaced parts and labor is included.
The shipping address for sending your carburetor will be provided after the purchase is completed.
