Offered is a vintage Carl Zeiss West Germany Universal research microscope with Zeiss optics and mechanical components.
This is a substantial professional/research-grade Zeiss microscope rather than a basic student microscope.

The microscope is being sold UNTETSTED. I do not have the specialized laboratory equipment necessary to fully test the optical alignment, illumination, objectives, Optovar, polarizing components, condenser, or mechanical accuracy.
The microscope has been visually inspected only.
Cosmetic condition: Shows age-related wear including scratches, scuffs, dust, finish wear and discoloration. Please examine all photographs carefully because the photographs are part of the description.
The optics may require professional cleaning/service. I have not disassembled the optical components or attempted to verify optical performance.
