Condition
New without tags. Pieces are individually factory-wrapped in original plastic sleeves and have never been used. A small number of pieces show very minor tarnishing consistent with storage; the majority are bright and polished. No chips, bends, or damage.
Design
Christofle's Chinon pattern — a Louis Philippe / Fiddle style introduced in 1862. The broad "shouldered" handle features clean vertical ribbing that Christofle describes as reminiscent of a violin. Discontinued in 2017, making complete sets increasingly rare and collectible. Also sought after by existing Chinon owners looking to complete or expand their service — matching pieces are increasingly scarce. Classic French formal flatware suitable for everyday luxury or formal entertaining. Made in France.
