MAINFRAME FACE
Using a multi-step AI computingprocess, we simulated thousands of the most common strikes across the clubface, emphasized the impact locations, and evaluated the performancecharacteristics.
Then, based on our findings, wecreated a variable thickness face design that enlarged and reshaped the sweetspot for boosted ball speeds across the entire striking area. Inside theclubhead, AI helped us figure out the best location for placement of uniqueweight pads for maximum forgiveness.
FULL-FACE GROOVES
For the first time ever in an Iron,HALO XL features full-face grooves, so you can step up, swing, and send it withserious spin on every shot. This hosel-to-toe groove configuration performs nomatter where you strike the ball. Plus, HALO XL Full-Face features a strikingarea that's up to 20 percent larger than last generation.
ALIGNMENT LINES
HALO XL Full-Face features a new,two-groove alignment system for reliable, consistent aim. Two thicker, whitegrooves on the bottom of the face help you keep the face square at address,centered behind the ball, and in-line with your target. The shorter, lowergroove promotes proper ball position alignment, while the longer groove aboveit helps align your clubhead to your target.
HYDRAZIP
HydraZip for HALO XL Irons uses adynamic blast system designed to maximize spin in wet or dry conditions, andfrom anywhere around the green. This proprietary spin technology ensuresconsistent performance in all conditions and from any lie.
In lower lofts (4i–7i), we use arougher face blast to minimize excess spin for improved carry distances.Meanwhile, high-lofted clubs (8i–SW) receive a slightly smoother blast, topromote better spin consistency.
XL HEAD DESIGN

Action Mass CB places an 8-gramcounterweight in the end of the shaft near the very top of your grip. The feelof added weight in your hands helps the club seem lighter, promoting a morestable, controlled backswing.
