Given to me from my Great Grandma, Note inside says this beaded purse was done on Leather by a young girl in the Family who was stolen by an Indian Chief on a White Horse,and raised by Indians at Niagara Falls. An Indian traveling thru Bushkill said she was at Big Waters, where they found her & and brought her back, but she was very unhappy, didn\'t like the good life,was always on the floor in Indian fashion, so they finally took her back, where she Married the Chiefs Son, but didn\'t live long. The purse was made while she was in Bushkill.
