Tempflow-FX controllers measure the temperature of exiting cooling water and continuously adjust water flow in cooling water systems to maintain a fixed optimum equipment operating temperature (as measured at the cooling water exit), while minimizing water consumption.
Tempflow-FX will regulate circulation to provide the exact cooling water flow rate for maximum equipment performance and will eliminate most shutdowns even when water pressure, water temperature and cooling load fluctuate.
How Tempflow-FX Works?
The Tempflow-FX controller achieves rapid response to changes in cooling water exit temperature through the use of a unique temperature transducer to generate forces which drive a flow control valve on the incoming water line. The transducer monitors the cooling water temperature as it exits the equipment and increases or decreases the incoming water flow, dynamically, to maintain the preselected fixed control temperature. The controller uses the temperature of the returned cooling water to establish the correct incoming flow rate. Tempflow-FX uses no electricity in achieving its accurate temperature control.
