Painting on fused glass.The process is lengthy, first I cut the glass, top and bottom, to the desired size and shape. It is then fused together which takes about 1 1/2 hours. Then it is allowed to cool. Then comes the fun part, painting. After the painting is completed it goes into the kiln again for about 3 more hours and allowed to completely cool again. It\'s a long process but when they come out of the kiln it is always a surprise. This is a wonderful mini work of art with lots of personality and detail and each piece is signed and dated.

The journey began decades ago with embroidered dolls, where the eyes became the focal point. Later, I discovered dichroic glass, which led me to fusing and painting on glass. From those experiments, the Painted Ladies came to life—miniature works of art, carefully created by hand in glass and kiln.
Today, the Painted Lady tradition continues with an added modern touch. I design, create, and bring them to life digitally, opening the door to even more imagination and expression.
