This started life as a 2024 Squier by Fender 4-String Short-Scale Bronco Bass that I\'ve customized, modified & upgraded with aesthetic modifications to somewhat resemble a Short-Scale Mustang Bass. Solid Poplar Body with its original gloss Arctic White finish with a Matching Headstock. Has a custom-made (by me) Mustang Bass shaped Tortoiseshell Pickguard with beveled edges, that looks great against the Arctic White finish.Pickup was set at an angle instead of straight like Bronco Basses are. It adds a little more thump to the lower strings and also emulates the classic way Mustang 6-string Guitars Pickups are mounted.No extra body routing was necessary. A Thumb-Rest was added for that Mustang Bass look. Also has a custom-made (again, by me) Control Plate, made of plastic Mirror Pickguard Material that looks like the chrome metal control plate on the Mustang Bass. It\'s thick, strong and sturdy. Originalchrome Tele knobs that come on the Bronco Bass replaced with Black Mustang Bass style Knobs. Original Bridge was replaced with a new aftermarket top-loader Chrome Bridge that \"somewhat\" emulates the larger Bridge on the Mustang Bass.Original Squier logo Neck-Plate replaced with a new Chrome Fender logo Neck-Plate. *Note that this Guitar wasn\'t made in Corona California, it\'s just the Neck Plate I chose to use, and as a visual upgrade.Short-Scale Maple Neck with a 19-fret Maple Fretboard.C-Shape profile, 30\" scale, 9.5\" radius, 1.5\" nut width.To further refine playability, the Fretboard has been lightly sanded with a very fine grit, then hand buffed to make the Fretboard very smooth, better than it came from the manufacture and plays with ease! *I do this to most Guitars I sell, new & used and makes for a significant improvement in playability! Frets are perfect and have been polished so they\'re bright & slick. Back of the Neck was thoroughly buffed with extra-fine 4x0 steel-wool, then hand buffed. It\'s \"ultra-smooth\" and fast! Headstock Face was painted White to match the Body, a vintage style water-slide decal applied, then cleared with gloss Lacquer. Serial Number remains on the back. The White Face adds a higher-end custom look. Original Bronco Tuners upgraded with a new set of vintage style Chrome Open-Gear Tuners with slotted-shafts like the Mustang Bass has.Has a fresh set of .45-1.05 Bass Strings and a complete set-up done, including: truss-rod relief, action, intonation & pickup height. *Besides one dent in the finish on the back of the Body, Bass is in mint condition! I tried to get a close-up picture but couldn\'t get it to show, probably due to the bright White finish. Note that it\'s not at all noticeable in any of the pictures in this listing.*I\'ve applied attention to detail to refine the playability of the Neck as Fender does to their more expensive Guitars. Blows away a new stock Bronco Bass and even a new stock Mustang Bassin playability...period! Ease of playability is just one of the reasons Buyers of my Guitars love them...check my Seller response. I consider Guitars to be \"playable Art\", with the playability of the Neck & Set-Up of course being key. I\'m not a professional Luthier, but well above an amateur & I\'m \"extremely meticulous\"! If you\'re looking for this type of Bass Guitar, think about if other Sellers work on Guitars (most don\'t) and know how to set them up. Is the Neck straight, Truss-Rod functional, Fretboard clean? Are the Frets oxidized needing dressed & polished, have dead frets or buzz that requires the frets to be leveled? Will the Strings be rusty or dead, needing a new set? And if it\'s a used Guitar, I\'m sure you\'ve found they usually arrive dusty, needing cleaning and require major tweaking just to be playable! Not this one!Also, will other Seller\'s description be as thorough as mine? Remember that you get what you pay for!This being said, I must also note: The Neck is perfectly straight, and it plays great, but I can\'t predict how you like your Guitar set up, so be advised that adjustments or a set-up to your preference \"may\" be required, and if you can\'t do it yourself, the costs associated with these adjustments should be expected. Also note that Guitars are made of Wood, and when in transit to you, temperature changes and/or Delivery Service Handling can affect my initial set-up.
