Custom-Built Telecaster style Guitar with a unique, one-of-a-kind appearance! *Note that every part and piece is brand-new! Full 1-3/4\" thick \"String-Through\"Poplar Body with an absolutely gorgeous Metallic Gold finish! New hand-wound Alnico 5 Single-Coil Tele Pickup Set. Both have strong output, clarity and sound great! *See picture of Pickups prior to installation. Built with full-size Alpha 250K Pots (same brand Fender installs in many of their Guitars), a Mallory Orange-Drop Capacitor and a new Fender 3-way Selector Switch. NewChrome Fender Control-Plate with traditional Tele Master Volume & Tone Controls and 3-way Selector. Chrome String-Through Bridge with 3-vintage style Barrel Saddles.New 4-ply (G/W/B/W) Gold Pearl Pickguard that blends perfectly with the Metallic Gold finish, adding to the striking appearance! New Chrome Fender logo Neck-Plate with back-plate. *Note that Guitar wasn\'t made in Corona California, it\'s just the Neck-Plate I chose to useand as visual upgrade.Has a new qualitysatin Amber finish\"Canadian Maple Neck\" with a 22 medium/jumbo fret satin Canadian Maple Fretboard. C-shape profile, 25.5\" scale, 7.25\" radius, 42mm nut-width, and has a BONE NUT. *Note it has beautiful gold/brown \"Abalone Dot Inlays\" that match and compliment the colors of the Body, Neck and Pickguard. Back of Neck has been thoroughly buffed it with extra-fine 4x0 steel wool, then hand buffed. This makes a significant improvement in playability! It\'s \"ultra smooth\", fast and plays fantastic! Frets polished so they\'re bright & slick. Headstock has a Metallic Silver waterslide Decal applied, sealed with Satin Lacquer. Has a new set of quality vintage style Inline Tuners with slotted-shafts.Strung up with a fresh set of top quality D\'Addario EXL110 Nickel-Wound 10-46 gage Strings (the Brand most Pros use & the only Strings I use) and a complete set-up done, including truss-rod relief, LOW ACTION, intonation and Pickup heights.Has finish cracks on each side of the Neck Pocket due to me stupidly overtightening the Neck-Plate Screws. This is actually pretty common with bolt-on Necks, and if they don\'t already have them, may crack in time. I\'ve stabilized them by filling them with superglue, carefully applied using the end of a needle. They won\'t spread any further and aren\'t noticeable at all unless viewed very closeup. Just the finish is affected, not the wood, the Body is absolutely fine.Otherwise, Guitar is in mint condition.I built this Tele around the gorgeous Gold Metallic Body, choosing the bright Amber Neck and Gold Pearl Pickguard, making this a strikingly unique, one-of-a-kind Tele that truly plays & sounds as great as it looks, and an affordable alternative!Weighs 8.0 pounds.*Includes a brand-new Backpack Gig-Bag. I consider Guitars to be \"playable Art\", with the playability of the Neck & Set-Up of course being key. I\'m not a professional Luthier, but well above an amateur & I\'m \"extremely meticulous\"! If you\'re looking for this type of Guitar, think about if other Sellers work on Guitars (most don\'t) and know how to set them up. Is the Neck straight, Truss-Rod functional, Fretboard clean? Are the Frets oxidized needing cleaned & polished, have dead frets or buzz that requires the frets to be leveled? Will the Strings be rusty or dead, needing a new set? And if it\'s a used Guitar, I\'m sure you\'ve found they usually arrive dusty, needing cleaning and require major tweaking just to be playable! Not this one!Also, will other Seller\'s description be as thorough as mine? Remember that you get what you pay for!This being said, I must also note: The Neck is perfectly straight, and it plays great, but I can\'t predict how you like your Guitar set up, so be advised that adjustments or a set-up to your preference \"may\" be required, and if you can\'t do it yourself, the costs associated with these adjustments should be expected. Also note that Guitars are made of Wood, and when in transit to you, temperature changes and/or Delivery Service Handling can affect my initial set-up.
