The NH34 automatic movement is powered by wrist movement and can also be wound manually. If the watch has stopped after being unworn, follow these steps:

1. If the crown is screw-down, turn it counterclockwise until it releases.
2. Keep the crown in its normal winding position, without pulling it out to set the time.
3. Gently turn the crown clockwise approximately 30–40 times to provide an initial wind.
4. Set the time and GMT hand as needed, following the movement’s instructions.
5. If the crown is screw-down, press it gently into place and screw it back down securely without overtightening.

Wearing the watch regularly helps keep it wound, although the power reserve depends on activity and the movement’s condition. If left unworn beyond its power reserve, the watch may stop and require winding again.
