DRUM SET. VINTAGE. Mfg. \"Del Ray\", Japan. Six drum Shell Pack.
This is a quality six drum shell pack, that is playable as is, but can be brought back to excellent condition as a project. Let\'s take a look at all that is included in this purchase:
1. Bass Drum- 22\" x16\" Bass drurm is in good shape. Has legs, however one spur is unstable due to some deterioration around the hole/ mount, for that spur. Bass drum remains stable in use, thought, and mount hole is not visible . Can be repaired. Also the exterior of the bass drum has some veneer that has cracked off, and yet drum still looks good. This too, is repairable. Drum has two good 22\" heads, one being a Ludwig, and both in very good condition. Currently all original and matching hardware on this drum allows the mounting of one drum head on the bass drum, and I have a fair amount of spare hardware which may fit all round.
2. Floor tom- In good used shape. 16\" x 16\", good quality heads. Complete with three legs. Great sounding drum
3. Snare drum- this is a real feature. Nicely made with sensitive snares that nicely adhere to snare side. Good heads. 8 lugs per side,
4. Three rack toms. One 12\" and two 13\". Tuned properly you can get spectrum of sound over these three. This sort of configuration was not all that unusual back in the vintage drum era that this set was made. Although not all drums have badges, the badges are really cool, and in decent shape.
I\'ve had this set for many, many years, stored properly in my studio. It\'s one of quite a few such instruments that I am now in the process of clearing. So the price is low considering what you\'ll get. First $350.00 plus cost of shipping and it\'s yours. (You can pick up item at my studio in Wilkes Barre for FREE.
Cost of shipping, estimate: Pock up from my studio here in Wilkes Barre, Pennsylvania, is at no cost. Set figure for shipping at $125.00. Depending on where you live, or the shipment is going to, it may cost less than this $125.00 to ship and if that is the case I will refund Buyer the difference. LIkely will require two boxes, given the number and size of the drums. Once you decide to buy, you can pick up for no added expense from my studio, or if shipped I will make arrangement at the lowest possible price, with no profit, or share of shipping expense deriving to me. You will pay $125.00 if you want the item shipped . I will return any amount over actual costs.
