This sale is for a Danbury Mint 1969 CHEVROLET COPO CAMARO 427 COUPE in 1:24 scale. As this was produced toward the end of the Danbury Mint's final years of diecast model production, this is one of the rarest Danbury Mint Camaros. It is not seen very often, and is extremely difficult to find. While it looks sensational from a display standpoint, it does have several issues to note. Upon close inspection, there are a few areas where there are some paint flaws, notably, some scrapes and scuffs. Although they aren't obvious from a display distance, they can be seen up close. The most obvious are on the top edge of the right rearfender, and on the right front edge of the hood. There is one tiny area around the middle of the top of the right front fender which has a slight ding also. These paint flaws are shown in the last two photos. Also seen in the photos is that the hood does not close completely flush to the body. It is slight,, but it can be seen. Finally, the side view mirror is missing from the driver door. Aside from these issues, the model is in excellent condition, and it really does look outstanding on display! With the exception of the noted imperfections, the paint is in fabulous shape, and looks stunning! It even still has the clear vinyl protective strips on the all of the Camaro scripts and lettering on the fenders, hood, and trunk! If it has been displayed it is certainly difficult to tell from the impeccable condition it is in! This car looks fabulous! TheRallye Greenpaint is quite beautiful and deep and glossy! There is no visible paint rash, and the finish looks superior! The pictures do not do this justice! As can be seen in the photos, the car will display wonderfully! The details on this car are just lovely. The chrome shines, and is in excellent condition! The contrasting black interior looks spectacular, beautifully complements the exterior color, and it looks brand new! All of the chrome foil scripts and emblems are intact, in excellent condition, and again, are still protected! The windows are clean and clear. Outside of the side view mirror, the car is intact in every way, and all other parts are present and functional. The wheels turn, and pivot with the steering wheel. Despite its flaws, this model really does look stunning, and will display really well! Once more, there are very few of these around, and can be quite expensive when they ae found. Although not mint, here is a prime opportunity to own an increasingly rare diecast at a VERY reasonable price! And it is priced to sell! This sale is for the car itself, and there are no accessories, and no original packaging, nor paperwork.
