Good overall condition. Bindings are fair to good (Variable with degree, I counted 5 good hinges (mostly in back), and 7 cracked (mostly in front) - all covers are attached, some slightly wobbly. Text blocks are all roughly the same condition - clean/unmarked pages. There are a few outlines of water droplets on the page edges (book closed) - fortunately did not affect reading surfaces.
Volume 2 has separation with the spine cover, top half. The reverse side is fully attached, so the spine holds in place. Volume 3 has a 1cm tear at the spine edge top. Volume 4 has a smaller tear, also at the top of the spine. (All three instances are pictured.) The gold colored gilting on the spines is slightly variable, mostly looks good and bright. Light wear.
Some instances of light tanning. A few pages partially loose due to hinge cracks - still attached. Nice copies.
