The tragedy at Alrosa:
In a chilly night December 8th, 2004, A young fan obsessed with heavy metal, Nathan Gale stood outside In the darkness of the Alrosa Ville parking lot, while the music pounded inside.
Gale stood six feet three and weighed more than 250 pounds. He wore thick glasses and a Columbus Blue hockey jersey over a hooded sweat shirt.
After Gale entered the Alrosa, he charged the stage and shot and killed former Pantara guitarist “Dimebag” Darrell Abbott and three other people during the show.
Nathan Gale was killed by police minutes after the violence erupted. A stocky former Marine, Gale was reportedly upset that Pantera had broken up, and may have blamed Abbott for the band’s acrimonious split.
