Anthony owned Greenpoint optical in Brooklyn NY. This brass lens a Single 4 Achromatic w/ waterhouse rotating aperture wheel, could of been used on the Bilux wood camera, or the G.O. Co. 3 1/4 x 4 1/4\" wood view camera. Both were made in the 1880,s of the 19th century. To help you, the optics are clear, usable in a 65 x 0.75mm retaining ring inside a front mounting board of a view camera. Orginal patina of old brass, untouched by any cleaning. Camera detective work is not easy these days and Ai is way off reality. I spent considerable time researching. All these cameras mentioned are very rare, and so is this lens.
