Beautiful daguerreotype photo by Plumbe. 1/4 plate size, exact dimensions in photos. Depicts a ma with his 2 children. Photographer marking on top corners of the plate, not on the mat like most of his other work. We were told this was some of Plumbes earliest work and this was why the plate was stamped vs the mat.
