Extended range means more creative potential
From acclaimed metal artists like Meshuggah to modern innovators like Animals as Leaders, countless guitarists reach for extended-range guitars, like the ESP LTD EC-258, to deliver punishing guitar tones. Plus, while the EC-258 is a natural choice for down-tuned riffing, you\'ll find that eight strings give you an amazing range of clean chord voicings and potential for extended harmony lines.
ESP\'s Eclipse body style blends classic looks with modern performance
Nothing screams hard rock like ESP\'s timeless Eclipse body style. The extra mass of this single-cutaway design gives the LTD EC-258 epic sustain, while its slightly arched top provides comfortable hand positioning, no matter your picking style. Add to that a super-sharp cutaway, which gives you access to the LTD EC-258\'s upper frets, and you\'re ready to rock.
Set-neck construction delivers sustain and articulation
The set-in mahogany neck on the ESP LTD EC-258 provides a more solid connection to the body than a bolt-on neck. That means better vibrational transfer from the neck to the body, resulting in faster attack and longer sustain. Plug in the LTD EC-258, turn your amplifier up, and see why so many of Sweetwater\'s metalheads choose ESP LTD as their go-to brand.
ESP LTD EC-258 Features:
- Mahogany body is loaded with warmth and resonance
- 3-piece mahogany neck with smooth-playing roasted jatoba fretboard
- Dual ESP humbucking pickups yield a clear, articulate response optimized for lower tunings
- TOM bridge/tailpiece for dependable tuning stability and intonation
- Set-neck construction ensures long-lasting sustain and excellent articulation
- Eye-grabbing satin finish and attractive black hardware
