Early 19th-century French Provincial armoire handcrafted from solid oak using traditional pegged mortise-and-tenon construction. The substantial case features a deep molded cornice, shaped paneled doors, plank backboards, long decorative hinges, and later glazed upper door panels. Repairs have been made to the upper and lower portions of the case due to previous damage, and the interior shelving has been replaced.

CONDITION: Antique condition with substantial age-related wear, finish variation, and natural wood movement. The upper and lower portions of the case have been repaired following previous damage. Door glass and interior shelving are later replacements.
