Beautiful book First edition. Red cloth with horizontal weave. This is one of two variants of the first edition with a likely second priority due to lack of \"he said\" on frontis piece. See Zeuschner, Edgar Rice Burroughs The Bibliography at 102-04(2016) (this was second priority as perhaps \"a matter of luck.\" p.104) At all events, this book is in terrific shape. Binding is firm with no cracks or creases; no spine rubbing at top or bottom and the corners are nice and sharp, reflecting no wear. Comes with a high-quality dust jacket.
