This is a beautiful vintage, handmade felt Christmas tablecloth featuring rich green felt with hand-appliquéd poinsettia designs and thick vintage gold tinsel fringe trim. It is in Perfect condition. This piece is One Of a Kind.
The flowers are created from cut fabric pieces that have been carefully layered, and appliquéd, then highlighted with paint and subtle glitter accents. The thick vintage gold tinsel trim around the edge is fully sewn on and gives it a classic, finished look.
Handmade pieces like this were popular from the mid-century period through the 1980s, valued for their detail and craftsmanship. This one presents especially well and is in excellent 58” in vintage condition. It appears to have been tucked away for many years and shows little to no use.
A lovely piece for holiday decorating, whether used as a tree skirt or displayed as a festive table covering.
