WHERE DID THESE GROPPERS COME FROM?

My parents owned a successful international art company in New York City for decades from the 1960s and throughout the 20th century.I was most fortunate to grow up in the same small town in New York as Bill Gropper where he raised his family. My dad and Bill were friends. As a boy, I visited Mr. Gropper in his home with my father numerous times. I clearly remember an ENORMOUS oil of Paul Bunyan by Mr. Gropper that graced an enormous living room wall.

My parents, working with many international and American artists like Gropper, strongly believed that good, original art should be accessible to everyone, not just the wealthy.
