These boots have a particularly unusual artisan/bohemian-Western look, with multiple substantial braided leather straps wrapping around the ankle, antique-style metal hardware, and a substantial dark brown block/stacked-style heel.
The detailed leather braiding is especially striking and gives these boots considerably more character than a typical Frye ankle boot.
