For your consideration this lovely hand made 18k gold Victorian cross.
European ( Spain ) Ca 1800´S.
The 18k (acid tested) filigree cross shows magnificent work on the front displaying seed pearls accents with decorated flowers and leaf motifs.
The cross can be worn as both a pendant and a brooch (the pin on the back is not gold).
This is a delicate cross that displays absolutely quality workmanship throughout.
This genuine religious luxury set also includes a luxury prayer book text in Latin and Spanish.
The cover of this Roman Missal is richly decorated with gold gilt and silver details. Its decoration includes a relief of an Angel on the front , a cross on the back and intricate floral motifs. The inside of the book is in good condition with images made of coloured and black inks. Gold gilt edges.
The rich decoration of this Missal emphasizes the importance and sanctity of the Mass, linking it to tradition, faith and continuity.
It´s dated in Paris (France) in Octuber 1969. Silver clasp.
These luxurious sets were common for high society Ladies, reflecting the wealth and social status of the aristocracy serving as well as devotional tools and significant works of art.
Very good overall condition for its age, however it has some age marks, minor surface rubs and wear.
