This beautiful book is a limited first edition of which only 519 were printed and only 500 were numbered. This is number # 155. Wonderful deckled edged , handmade paper , Journal of a Tour in the Netherlands in the Autumn of 1815” is a travelogue by English poet laureate Robert Southey. Although written in 1815, the manuscript was first published in 1902.
This book is bound in 1/4 beige cloth over marbled paper covered boards with gilt lettering to the spine. Deckled edges ragged paper, binding is tight. Clean pages with age appropriate yellowing.Please look at photos carefully.
