All steering gearboxes and rack & pinion assemblies receive new seals, bearings (if applicable), a thorough cleaning and inspection, and any port threads for the power steering lines are inspected and chased to ensure a reliable seal. Internal shafts & gears are inspected, cleaned, and either machined or replaced as needed. All our steering components are backed by an unbeatable warranty. This is only tested and verified to fit models that had manual steering from the factory; we cannot guarantee compatibility as a retrofit for models that originally had power steering! This gearbox bolts up like OEM, but has different gears inside for a quicker 16:1 steering ratio, resulting in sharper steering response to give these classic cars a little more modern handling feel.
