Developed in the mid-1960s under the direction of Carroll Shelby, the Ford GT40 was created to challenge and defeat Ferrari at Le Mans. The GT40 achieved historic success, winning the 24 Hours of Le Mans four consecutive times from 1966 to 1969, firmly establishing American engineering on the world stage. Its low-slung design, powerful V8 engine, and aggressive styling made it an instant icon of endurance racing.
This limited-edition canvas is individually hand-signed by racing legends Phil Hill and Carroll Shelby. Hill, a Le Mans winner and 1961 Formula One World Champion, and Shelby, the visionary behind the GT40’s development, together represent two of the most influential figures in motorsports history.
