Offering for sale this wonderful authentic medal of honor from the French Government, Republique Francaise.It is from the depart of the Ministere Du Travail 1981. It was given to the person named D. Chaudy, the name stamped in the middle of the back of the medal with the year 1981.
The French Government is well known for awarding medals to their citizens for their accomplishments. I found this at an estate sale. It is in very good condition, missing the pin at the top the would attach to the wearers clothing. IT comes with the secondary ribbon with a snap so it can be worn that way as well.
Stamped on the front, Republique Francaise and the artist name A. Borret stamped at the bottom. There are slight black marks on the face of the image on the front of the medal but you need a magnifying glass to really see it.The back reads, Ministere Du Travail, with the recipients name and year 1981
