French Empire Brass & Onyx Coffee Table, Figural Nymph Base, Hollywood Regency For Sale

Exceptional vintage French brass and onyx coffee table dating to the 1960s, featuring a richly veined natural stone top supported by an elaborate sculptural brass base with classical female nymph figures.

The table combines the luxurious materials and dramatic ornamentation associated with Hollywood Regency and French Mid-Century design. The brass framework is decorated with intricate floral, foliate, and scrolling motifs, while the classical figural supports draw inspiration from ancient Greek and Roman decorative arts.

The natural onyx displays beautiful shades of honey, goldenrod, cream, olive, and amber, with distinctive veining and translucent variations unique to the stone. The warm coloration contrasts beautifully with the aged brass finish.

Its sculptural base and ornate architectural detailing give the table a commanding presence, making it an excellent statement piece for a formal living room, library, luxury office, boutique, hotel, or professionally designed interior.
