Beautiful original oil painting of a sea captain cooking his pipe (after Henry Haerendel). Signed by artist in lower right - looks like Eva or Ewa? And also along side of canvas just inside the frame- appears to be a last name possibly. Housed in a beautiful ornate gold gilt frame. The previous owners acquired this at a flea market in Paris while they were living overseas. Measures approximately 15 1/4” x 17 11/16” framed. Visible canvas measures about 8 7/8” x 11 1/4”.
