Traditional jewelry testing stones are typically nothing more than a plain, unmarked black surface. TrueAssay has redesigned the traditional testing stone with an innovative Patent-Pending guided layout created specifically for precious-metal testing.

Instead of trying to remember which streak corresponds with which solution, the TrueAssay stone features clearly labeled and color-coded testing sections for Gold, Silver, and Platinum, helping create a more organized testing process.

This is our smallest solution kit, designed to provide an affordable way to receive all six essential TrueAssay testing solutions along with the complete testing accessories.

Please purchase based on the stated quantity of solution — not the physical size or fill level of the bottle. The bottles are intentionally larger than the amount of solution contained inside them. 30–40 drops will not fill the entire bottle. This is normal and does not indicate that solution is missing.

When approximately one drop is used per test, each bottle can provide approximately 30–40 individual tests. Actual number of tests may vary depending on the amount of solution used for each test.

Gold Testing

Create a visible streak by rubbing the item onto the testing stone. Apply a small drop of the matching TrueAssay Gold Testing Solution directly onto the streak. If the streak remains unaffected by the solution, the tested material may be that karat or higher.

10K 10K Gold Testing Solution

Create a streak on the testing stone and apply a drop of TrueAssay 10K Gold Testing Solution. If the streak remains unaffected, the tested material may be 10K gold or higher.

14K 14K Gold Testing Solution

Create a streak on the testing stone and apply a drop of TrueAssay 14K Gold Testing Solution. If the streak remains unaffected, the tested material may be 14K gold or higher.

18K 18K Gold Testing Solution

Create a streak on the testing stone and apply a drop of TrueAssay 18K Gold Testing Solution. If the streak remains unaffected, the tested material may be 18K gold or higher.

22K 22K Gold Testing Solution

Create a streak on the testing stone and apply a drop of TrueAssay 22K Gold Testing Solution. If the streak remains unaffected, the tested material may be 22K gold or higher.

Silver Testing

Create a visible streak on the testing stone and apply a drop of TrueAssay Silver Testing Solution directly onto the streak. Match the color reaction to the chart below.

• Bright Red = .999 Fine Silver
• Dark Red = .925 Sterling Silver
• Brown = .800 Silver
• Green = .500 Silver

The included guided stone provides a designated Silver testing area to help keep your silver tests separated from your gold and platinum testing.

Platinum Testing

Create a visible streak on the testing stone and apply a drop of TrueAssay Platinum Testing Solution.

• Streak Unchanged = Platinum
• Dissolves / Changes = Not Platinum
• Red Reaction = May indicate Palladium

The guided testing stone includes a dedicated Platinum testing area for easier organization and identification.
