Offered for sale is a circa 1929 General Electric P4-180 monitor top porcelain cabinet refrigerator in an ultra rare 4-door configuration. The monitor top was updated to a 1937 CK-35-E16. The replacement of the monitor top was common with this era.
The refrigerator runs normally and cools properly when tested. It was only plugged in for a limited amount of time (about 20 minutes). It cooled rather quickly. There was noticeable crystalizing on the ice tray showing proper function. There were no observed issues during that time but long term operation CAN NOT be guaranteed. This item is being sold AS IS.
Cosmetic condition is original. It is in great cosmetic condition considering its age. Please reference the photos for a detailed look. There are some exterior scuffs, minor rust spots on feet, interior wear especially along the base, interior door insulation cracking and crumbling off but doors still close normally. If you have any specific condition questions, please ask.
