Functional study copy with unmarked pages and a sound binding, despite page damage and cosmetic wear. One page has a small triangular piece cut away below the page number; no text is missing. Two other pages have small lower-edge tears mended with clear tape. Another page has vertical creases and lower-edge wear. The front free endpaper and title page also have creases.
One page has a small area of moisture-related wrinkling near its lower margin. Some additional pages have minor moisture-related wrinkling along their lower margins, mainly toward the end of the book. No pages are stuck together, and all text remains fully readable.
