\"An important and decorative map drawn from the \"New Universal Geographical Atlas outlined on the last observations\", published in Rome from 1792 until 1801, operates that Camerale Calcografia commissioned Cassini in order to replace the now obsolete \" Geographical Mercury \".Giovanni Maria Cassini, Regular Chierico Somasco was a geographer and cartographer, but also architect and perspectives carpenter - one of Giovanni Battista Piranesi\'s best disciples - Cassini was one of the last Italian sferographs of the 18th century and his globes had a great diffusion as well as this \"New Earth Atlas\".Copper engraving, coherent coloring of contours, light brunettes, for the rest in excellent conservation status.THE\'Cassine\'s Atlas was reprinted by Camerale Calcera in the first quarter of the nineteenth century before 1839.
