Hanes kicked off their sponsorship of the 1996 Olympics with a 500-day-t-shirt sale to raise money for the US Olympic Team and to fund tickets to the Olympics for underprivileged children. They saleed off numbered Olympic t shirts in major cities during the days leading up to the summer games.
