This is a string-bound portfolio of photographs ofHarvard University from 1891. The photographshave a beautiful sepia tone and lots of detail. Each has a caption beneath.
There are35 pages of photographs.The page measures9 x 7inches (23 x18 cm). The full-page photos measure approximately 6.5 x 4.5 inches (16.5 x 11.5 cm). The last five pages have old insect damage that have turned the pages lacy in the bottom right corner. The front cover is missing. The original red ribbon is still tied to the binding.
Produced by the Albertype Company as a set of mechanical photogravure prints. It is dated 1891.
