This is a limited edition of only 75 prints. And they are signed, but not numbered.

> The printbegan as a linocut. What is a linocutprint you may wonder?

They begin asoriginal artwork, drawn on a flat surface by the artist. Once approved,

theimage is recreated on the top of the linoleum block awaiting the carvingprocess.

> Linocut isa printmaking technique, a variant of woodcut in which a sheet of linoleum,

sometimes mounted on a wooden block, is used for the relief surface. A designis cut into

the linoleum surface with a sharp knife, V-shaped chisel or gougewith the raised or un-carved

areas representing a reversal or mirror image ofthe parts to show printed. The linoleum sheet

is inked with a roller or brayerand then impressed onto paper or fabric. The actual printing

can be done byhand or with a press.
