Hummel Land In Sight Porcelain Figurine. An exceptional Hummel figurine featuring 5 young boys venturing across the ocean in their sail boat. This Hummel figurine was made to commemorate the 500th year of Christopher Columbus’ voyage to America. A wonderful gift or a piece to add to your collection.
The makers mark on the bottom indicates that Land In Sight was manufactured in 1992. This piece is a limited edition stamped 9636/30,000 on the underside.
The artist responsible for these wonderful creations was Berta Hummel (1909 – 1946) who later changed her name to Maria Innocentia. Her figurines were first produced in Germany around 1935.
This is a vintage item in very good condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Please review the pictures and if you have any questions message me. The box is included and in good condition with signs of use and age.
