I rescued this vintage Thinkpad from ewaste. It works fine except for two issues: One RAM slot is dead (a common problem with this model), and the battery is dead.
My router did not want to talk to this laptop when I plugged in an ethernet cable, so I could not install Legacy update. I'm fairly sure this is a problem with my network being too new, rather than the laptop not working.
