MIJ 1977 Ibanez CN-100. I call it my tank, it never goes out of tune. While the American guitar manufacturers were making junk during the 70s, the Japanese were crafting gems. This is one.
Featuring a mahogany body with a carved maple top, laminated maple neck and an ebonized rosewood fingerboard.
This beauty has Ibanez Super 80 humbucking pickups, known for their warm and versatile tone, designed to provide a rich sound with a lot of depth.
Never any repairs, no structural damage. No cracks, only light belt rash that I showed in a pic. Which is actually a good sign, you know it’s been well played.
I switched out the speed knobs for the top hats, way cooler. I put in a new 1/4” input jack and a new pick up toggle switch. It doesn’t show up on the pictures all that great (added pics, shows up much better, especially if you zoom), there are really cool fairy/sprite engravings on the pickup covers. There’s no major damage outside of a little bit of a nick and some light belt rash on the back, which I did my best to show. Guitars made in Japan are as good if not better than any made in America. If you know, you know. There are some extra parts, including some speed knobs that may have been original. There’s also a couple extra plastic nuts, the old toggle switch and a tuner that may or may not work. All the stuff is a throw in, please don’t come at me with the tuner doesn’t work or these are not the original knobs. They are just throw ins and not included in the price. Took a pic of tape measure at the 12th fret on the A string. As you can see, perfect height, precise as the Japanese craftsman are known for.
Comes from a smoke free home.
***shipping I do apologize for the shipping. There is absolutely nothing I can do about it. I have let calculate my shipping up until now and it has cost me money every time. I have paid hundreds of dollars to ship other people‘s packages, I can’t any longer. I am in a small town in MN, an hour south of the Canada, and because of my location, it costs more****
