Ibanez TS9 Tube Screamer (early MIJ Reissue) circa 1994
This example has the Toshiba TA75558 op-amp associated with many original TS9s and early reissues.
Classic Tube Screamer sound: smooth clipping, focused mids, controlled low end, and that familiar ability to either work as an overdrive on its own or push the front end of an already-working amp.
Controls:
I particularly like these with the gain lower and the Level pushed up into a tube amp, but obviously there’s a lot of useful range available.
This pedal is in Very Good used condition with normal scratches and cosmetic wear from age and use.
Fully functional and sounds exactly like a good TS9 should: smooth, warm, and musical.
Condition: Very Good
Made in Japan
Era: Circa 1994
Op-Amp: Toshiba TA75558
