This size-7 ring was hand handcrafted by me from a genuine vintage Israeli 10 Agorot coin, originally issued during Israel’s pound-era currency. The coin features a date palm with clusters of dates along with the name Israel in Hebrew and Arabic — details that now wrap around the band and remain visible inside the finished ring.Even the denomination has history behind it: the name agora was chosen from a word appearing in the biblical book of 1 Samuel when Israel introduced the currency in 1960. The original coin was struck in bronze, giving the finished ring its warm golden tone. The ring maintained most of the original details from the coin - the palm tree and lettering.
